Be a representative of Jesus Christ.

"How to be a good representative  of Jesus Christ"

It's All About Love, Love and Love

“ How do you love your neighbor? First, you must learn to receive God’s love for yourself. Until then, you can’t truly love anyone else. You may do all the right things, but your motivation will be all wrong. ”
All the fruit of the Spirit are held in place by love. Jesus said that loving God and other people is the most important commandment. “You must love the LORD your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your mind.”

He added, “A second is equally important: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself’” (Matthew 22:39).

How do you love your neighbor? First, you must learn to receive God’s love for yourself. Until then, you can’t truly love anyone else. You may do all the right things, but your motivation will be all wrong. And God isn’t nearly as concerned about what we do as He is about the attitudes of our hearts (see 1 Thessalonians 2:4).

The rest of the fruits of the Spirit will easily follow after you learn to exhibit love.

But the Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives:
love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. There is no law against these things! –Galatians 5:22-23 NLT

Life isn't about WHAT you do, life is about how well you LOVE others. How can others see love flowing from you? From the crazy, bountiful JOY and THANKFULNESS that oozes from your life.

Matthew 7:16
By their fruits you will know them.

1 Corinthians 13:4-8New International Version (NIV)

4 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5 It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6 Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7 It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

8 Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away.

So, how does one correctly represent Jesus? Love God first and then love people. Plain and simple.

Number One

This is the beginning of a new chapter of my writing life, continuing where I left off back during my school days when the class was given the assignment to finish the beginning with something like"it was a cold and rainy night", and yes I do know this is an awfully long run-on sentence.
It is however at this point 11:12 pm and I do not wish to stay up all night writing, although I'm sure I could, since it's been so long that I'v taken up the quill....or finger that is, since I'm doing this all on my trusty IPad with only 21% left in the battery.
